Remember when you were young? and wore red along with blue and didn’t care that it didn’t match because it felt the most you. And then they told you little girl careful about what you wear because if you do it wrong, then everyone will stare. They think they can comment, on how you dress and talk They think that it’s okay to tell you how to walk. But do they know that we’re not all meant to be tall and thin We were born to stand out, not to fit in! So dance wild, be crazy and laugh way too loud Because it’s not a wrong thing to stand out from the crowd! I think we lost ourselves trying to do it right, We became what they wanted without even a fight. It’s time to let go of who we thought we were, Let’s just have fun our time is limited here. I really do believe you’re perfect as you are. You were made from the same elements as a shiny twinkly star! You were perfect as you were I promise you, I do Quit hiding your magic The world is ready for you.
